Did somebunny say Easter? The Spring holiday is just around the corner, which means it's time to start crafting!
This Easter activity for kids is easy, affordable, and not to mention totally adorable. Made from paper cups, these Easter Bunny Cups are perfect for your Easter party this year.
Now let's go step-by-step on how to make this Easter Bunny Craft!
Bunny Cup Instructions with Pictures:
What You'll Need:
- Paper Cups - You can use any color! We decided to use pink and white cups that we found at a local grocery store.
- Craft Paper
- White Pipe Cleaners
- Small White Cotton Pom-Poms
- Small Googly Eyes
- Hot Glue Gun or Glue Dots
How to Make the Easter Bunny Cups:
Step 1: Fold the craft paper in ½ and then in ½ again. Carefully cut out the shape of 1 bunny ear. With the folded paper, you will get 2 full sets of bunny ears.
Step 2: Place 2 small dots of hot glue inside the back of the paper cup. Then stick each bunny ear inside the cup.
(Tip: If you are making this with young children, you can use glue dots rather than a hot glue gun.)
Step 3: Cut 1 pipe cleaner in ½ and then in ½ again. This will give you 4 bunny whiskers from each pipe cleaner.
Step 4: Place 1 dot of hot glue on the center of the cup and attach 2 of your cut pipe cleaners on each side - now your bunny cup has whiskers!
Step 5: Add another dot of hot glue on top of the pipe cleaners and place 1 white pom-pom over it - now your bunny cup has a nose!
Step 6: Add a small amount of hot glue to the back of each googly eye and place above the whiskers.
Step 7: Now fill the cups with your favorite sweet treat for a fun Easter party favor that your kids will love.
You can make 12 Easter Bunny Cups for less than $5.00 with this easy Easter activity.
